Through its broad member base, the EPS represents the views of the European Physics Community. The society provides a discussion forum for its members to address policy issues relevant to physics research and teaching. The EPS also provides a physics perspective on policy issues more broadly.
EPS in Brussels
The EPS has a presence in Brussels, creating liaison between EPS and EU institutions, sister learned societies, and the Brussels delegations of research organisations. The EPS also compiles a regular policy newsletter which contains the latest policy news, events and funding opportunities relevant to the physics community.
The EPS publishes policy statements, positions papers, and recommendations on a variety of issues that are important to physics research and education and the relationship between physics and society.
