The International Workshop “Iron-based Superconductors: advances towards applications” which will be held in  Santa Margherita Ligure (Genoa, Italy) from Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th February 2020.

The Workshop will take place in the Best Western Hotel Regina Elena situated on the seafront that connects Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino.

Abstract submission is now open until November 1st, 2019.

The topics included in the Workshop are:

  • Materials
  • Pinning and Vortex Matter
  • Bulk Magnets
  • Thin Films and Devices
  • Wires, Tapes and Coated Conductors

Invited speakers include 

  • Prof. Kazumasa Iida (Department of Materials Physics, Nagoya University)
  • Prof. Fumitake Kametani (Department of Mechanical Engineering, FSU, and the Applied Superconductivity Center, NHMFL, Tallahassee, FL)
  • Prof. Yanwei Ma (Key Laboratory of Applied Superconductivity, Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing)
  • Prof. Tsuyoshi Tamegai (Department of Applied Physics, The University of Tokyo)
