The aim of the workshop is to be the primary forum for scientific discussions on novel methods and applications of self-organized nanopattern production at surfaces such as miniaturization, flat surface growth, or periodic nanostructure production by growth or erosion techniques. The 10th International Workshop on Nanoscale Pattern Formation at Surfaces (NanoPatterning 2019) will take place in Guildford, UK from 7th to 10th July 2019. Registration and abstract submission will open in February 2019.
The aim of the workshop is to be the primary forum for scientific discussions on novel methods and applications of self-organized nanopattern production at surfaces such as miniaturization, flat surface growth, or periodic nanostructure production by growth or erosion techniques. The focus of this meeting is to bring together researchers from different fields so their combined expertise and techniques can gain fundamental understanding of mechanisms leading to surface pattern formation, radiation-matter interactions and their applications in different areas and technologies.
The workshop is hosted by the Surrey Ion Beam Centre at the University of Surrey. Guildford is the county town of Surrey, with good connections to both major London airports (Heathrow and Gatwick) and with direct rail links to London. The University of Surrey is at the heart of Guildford with its green Stag Hill Campus, situated next to Guildford Cathedral.
