Committees: European Integration
Group Pages

The European Physical Society (EPS) promotes the exchange of physicists and physics research across Europe. While there has been considerable improvement in the European political situation over the past 40 years, fragmentation is still an issue in the European physics community. At the moment, the EPS Committee of European Integration (EPS-CEI) was created to study these issues particularly in countries on the periphery of the EU. The Committee initiates, supports and promotes actions focusing primarily on Central, Eastern & Southern Europe.

The Main task of the CEI are: to collect and analyze info on the situation in physics in countries on the periphery of the EU; to propose actions and administration of grants; to promote exchange, collaboration and competitions of students/young physicists; to supports leadership of EPS and boards of the EPS Divisions/Groups in their mission.
