If Sol-SkyMag is an abbreviation for Skyrmion Magnetism, the scope of the conference is essentially wider. The Sol-SkyMag conference serves to assess the status, recent progress, and development in the field of nanomagnetism and spintronics. The conference will provide an international forum to discuss recent progress and trends in the field and to identify potential future collaborations. In particular, it aims at bringing together the community of leading researchers working the area of nanomagnetism, spin dynamics, spin-transport, etc., and their applications.
Sol-SkyMag 2016 xill be conducted as a small, "elite" conference, offering an excellent opportunity for selected participants from universities, research institutes and industry to present and discuss their most recent results, share the latest scientific findings and technology developments.
Sol-SkyMag 2016 will be conducted in San Sebastian, the one of the most beautiful cities of Europe located in Gipuzkoa province, the Basque Country, Spain. The city was selected as European Capital of Culture for 2016.
