The 7th international workshop on Acoustic and Radio EeV Neutrino Detection Activities (ARENA 2016) will be hosted by the KVI-CART institute of the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) from Tuesday, June 7th (9 a.m.) until Friday, June 10th (noon) 2016. For further information contact Olaf Scholten (e-mail: O.Scholten(at)rug.nl).
The workshop covers the following topics, comprising theory, simulation, and existing and future experiments:
Ultra-high-energy neutrinos (detection, theory of production)
Radio-detection of particle showers in dense matter and in the atmosphere
Acoustic detection of particle showers
Signal generation and propagation, properties of detection media
Sensors and emitters
All oral presentations will be organised in plenary sessions. There will be:
Invited talks providing an overview of the major topics (~30min).
Submitted contributions: The groups and collaborations are invited to submit overview talks on their work (~20min) and specialised talks (~15min).
