ELI-ALPS, as an international user facility, is undertaking actions towards forming an international user community, incorporating users from a broad spectrum of disciplines, research areas and technological/industrial application. The workshop is in the framework of these actions. The second users’ workshop focuses on research that could be conducted at ELI-ALPS in the scientific areas of material science and chemistry related applications. Its mission is to brainstorm research and technology that could be optimally and/or uniquely hosted by ELI-ALPS.

The program of the workshop will comprise of:

  1. Presentation of the Infrastructure, its primary and secondary sources including provided specialized instrumentation by the personnel of ELI-ALPS
  2. Invited talks on the above topics
  3. Poster presentations by participants on research to be contacted at ELI-ALPS

Talks are only by invitation. Participants may present selected posters relevant to research they envisage performing in ELI-ALPS.
