Recording of the SCOAP3 Forum 2016 available

SCOAP3 held its third Forum, on December 1st and 5th, 2016. This year’s Forum focused on the review of the first 3 years of the initiative and an outlook on the next 3 years.

The video and the accompanying slides provide information on

  • the review of the first 3 years of the initiative (2014-2016),

Crucial for the experiment, the Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) prevents us from recording bad or low-quality data by alarming the DQM shifter in the Control Centre of any potential problem with the raw data which may occur.

The ALICE juniors form a community of people in the beginning of their career. They conduct a big part of the day-to-day data analysis, they perform service tasks, detector calibration and development, thus contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the experiment.
