The EPS provides a forum for the physics community in Europe to discuss issues important to physics research and education and the relationship between physics and society. Through its broad membership base, the EPS represents the views of the physics community in Europe. The EPS provides information of use to the policy makers and the general public to understand these issues from the point of view of physics.
RESEARCH AND SCIENCE POLICY

The EPS Forum Physics and Society (FPS) holds regular meetings discussing various issues of physics and society. The meetings make recommendation for actions.
